About Us
Nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way just 3 km from Spanish Point lies the Gate Lodge at White Strand. The carefully restored Gate Lodge building is quintessentially an early -Victorian lodge dating back to 1837 on the grounds of the Butler Families coastal retreat known as ‘Aran View House’. The Gate Lodge formed the home of the caretaker to the Butler Family who had been the Earl of Ormond in Co. Tipperary dating back to the twelfth century.
